We’re very excited for you to join us in your inaugural year at Tokyo Opera Studio.

Our dual mission is:

1)To deliver an immersive learning and performance experience of the greatest operatic roles, made financially accessible to a wide range of singers.

2)To enrich your cultural experience. Too many summer programs fly singers thousands of miles, only to spend 9-12 hours in a rehearsal hall with no sense of the history and culture around them. We’ve partnered with local experts to intersperse our intensive sessions with exploration of the city around you. We hope to expose you to new ways of thinking: about your art, about you as an artist, and about you as a person. There are so many places in the world with rich, artistic heritages that have so much to say if we’ll only listen. I hope we can help you do just that.
